IRCC has conducted its third Express Entry draw of 2023, with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issuing invitations to 893 Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates who had a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 733.
This is the first program-specific Express Entry draw since July 2022. Between July and now, IRCC conducted all-program draws, where all eligible candidates were considered for invitations, regardless of the program they were applying under. In contrast, program-specific draws only invite candidates from a specific program.
The candidates who received an invitation in this draw had already received a provincial nomination, which is a program that allows Canadian provinces to nominate individuals who support their regional labour market and population objectives. For Express Entry candidates still in the applicant pool, IRCC is expected to conduct another draw in approximately two weeks.
